The course will teach you everything you need to know about how to build a web site. You should know how to open and save documents (familiarity with word processing is helpful); how to create a new document; and have some familiarity with surfing the web.

PAE has top quality fast-speed computers that you can use during class and also during scheduled computer lab times. Our computers have the software applications you need to complete the courses and earn your certificate. We also have a special server where you can upload you student work to the World Wide Web. Although it would helpful for you to have a computer at home, it is not required.

If you are comfortable with opening and saving files, creating new files, and have done a little web surfing, you're ready to start right in with the first courses of the program.

You can add in electives at any time, including Excel, Access, Writing for the Web, Advanced Programming, e-Commerce Topics, etc.

There are lots of opportunities for people with the skills PAE is teaching in the Web Design Certificate Program including Web Master, Web Marketer, Web Programmer, etc.

The Program is designed so that you can complete all the classes you need in twelve (12) months. Courses will be offered on a rolling schedule so you should be able to find courses you need at times that meet your busy schedule.
